Mountain Devil is a most important remedy which helps to bring about unconditional love and acceptance as well as forgiveness. It is the key remedy for allowing universal love to come through. Mountain Devil can be used for all states in which there is a lack of love. Love is the ultimate life force; the strongest energy there is. Our spiritual evolution is geared towards the ability to express greater and greater amounts of love.
Many great teachers throughout the ages have preached the importance of love. It is the basic foundation for all human relationships. What we do to others is reflected onto all of humanity, for to hate another is to hate ourselves, for we are all living within the one Universal Mind. What we think about another we think about ourselves. To let go of all bitterness and resentment and to love one another is what we owe ourselves and humanity.
As this remedy clears away the hatred, anger and other feelings blocking the expression of love, a deep sadness (the other side of anger) may be revealed. This reflects a lack of self-love, another reason why these people have trouble expressing love for others.

It is important for Mountain Devil types to recognise that they are feeling angry and to acknowledge to themselves that they have those feelings. A more effective way to let out anger than smashing something, someone or yourself up is to kneel in front of a stack of pillows and, with a stick raised over your head, hit into them hard, releasing the energy in your spine. You have let your anger out without hurting anyone. If that is too artificial for you, release the anger by doing something physical like digging a hole in the ground or running around the block.
This is a wonderful remedy for jealousy and especially sibling rivalry. When a new brother or sister is about to be born, giving the child some doses of Mountain Devil can help to remove any jealousy. In that situation this remedy is very good for pets too.
