They are best applied warm, and are suitable for application all over the body (except scalp) in a unidirectional motion from the center towards the periphery without excessive pressure.
Contains:
Petitgrain - This oil is obtained from the Orange tree, along with Sweet Orange and Neroli. Petitgrain has a not too dissimilar scent to Neroli and is a classic ingredient of eau de cologne. Petitgrain aroma is uplifting and helps to refresh the senses, clear confusion and reduce mental fatigue. Petitgrain essential oil has been traditionally used in aromatherapy for acne, excessive perspiration, greasy skin and hair, and general toning of the skin. It is non-photosensitising like other citrus oils can be. Petitgrain essential oil may also help dyspepsia and flatulence; further, it may support the nervous system in cases of insomnia, nervous exhaustion and other stress-related conditions.
Orange Sweet - The essential oil is cold extracted from the fruit of the Citrus sinensis tree and is widely used in perfumery for its fresh, uplifting scent. It is mildly astringent, antiseptic, cleansing, and soothing, and makes a good toner for dry, sensitive skin, and broken capillaries. Oranges are said to promote love, luck, divination, and prosperity.
Ylang Ylang - The essential oil is extracted from the Cananga odorata plant, and has antidepressant, relaxive, and aphrodisiac properties. It is also good for balancing overly oily skin. It has a very sweet, uplifting scent and is commonly used in perfumery.
Rose - (Rosa spp.) Roses have a long history of use by various cultures as medicine, food, and in cosmetics since ancient times. More than just a delightful aroma, both the petals and essential oils have gentle astringent and cleansing as well as antiseptic and antiviral properties good for all skin types. Rose helps soften and soothe skin, and balances skin pH. Roses, of course, represent love, but also healing, luck, protection, and psychic powers.
Clary Sage - The essential oil of this plant (Salvia sclarea) is commonly used as a fixative in perfumery, and also helps to harmonize scents in a blend. It also has mild astringent and cleansing effects on the hair and skin.
Grape Seed Oil - (Vitis vinifera) A very light oil, especially great for use in massage oils because it is relatively non-greasy. It's wonderfully softening to the skin, and is non-allergenic, making it perfect for sensitive skin and delicate skin areas. Grapes are said to improve fertility, mental powers, and prosperity.
Wheatgerm - (Triticum vulgare) Wheat Germ Oil is widely used as both a cosmetic ingredient and as a dietary supplement. It is naturally rich in Vitamins A, D, and E, and also contains Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, F, Essential Fatty Acids, protein, and minerals. Because of its anti-oxidant and regenerative properties, Wheat Germ Oil is a wonderful ingredient to add to bodycare and cosmetic products. Wheat Germ Oil contains high levels of Vitamin E Oil, as well as other vitamins, minerals, protein, and Essential Fatty Acids. Essential Fatty Acids support physiological functions, and are essential for the health of our organs and overall health. They cannot be produced by our own bodies, and instead must be obtained from dietary sources. Wheat Germ Oil contains linoleic, oleic, palmitic, and stearic fatty acids. These are needed for our cardiovascular, immune, nervous, reproductive systems, and to maintain healthy cells and body functions. The Vitamin E Oil present in Wheat Germ Oil promotes skin cell formation, and is great for nourishing and rejuvenating dry, mature, dehydrated skin, and reducing scars, stretch marks, sunburns, and damaged skin. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects, which may be beneficial medicinally as well as in cosmetics. The high Vitamin E content in Wheat Germ Oil is a natural preservative, helps to prevent rancidity, and prolongs the shelf life of cosmetic products.
